Strawberry Syrup

4 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)
2 cups sugar
1 cup water

Put sugar and water in a pot and warm. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool. If using fresh strawberries remove leaves and cores. Pure strawberries and run through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove seeds. Combine strawberry juice and syrup. Store in the refrigerator.
